Unsoed is one of university in Purwokerto
that have many departments in there. One of the department is culture
department. There are many kinds of program study in culture department such as
english diploma program, chinese diploma program, english literature, indonesia
literature, and the newest japan literature.
Dr. Syaifur Rochman, M.Ed. TESOL said that "the culture department would have two new program study, they are english education and indonesia education". He added that "the first idea when Muhammad Nur met with public figure from Banyumas, Cilacap, and Banjarnegara, they hope Unsoed could open a education faculty because in Purwokerto there is no university like Unsoed". By it, Unsoed asked to Dikti to open a educational faculty. Unsoed hope this new departments can be open in this year. Now Unsoed is waiting for the decision from Dikti.
